Scott Harper, Shannon Bates Recognized by Texas Super Lawyers

Harper & Bates is pleased to announce partners Scott Harper and Shannon Bates have been recognized as 2018 Texas Super Lawyers.

Bates has been recognized by Super Lawyers every year since 2012 for her work in Intellectual Property. Harper was also recognized for his Intellectual Property work in addition to his Intellectual Property Litigation work. For Harper, this is his third consecutive year being listed by Super Lawyers.

Super Lawyers is a rating service based on peer nominations that are supported by interviews, independent research, data verification and good-standing review. Only 5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected as Super Lawyers each year. Those selected are included in lists published both nationally in Super Lawyers Magazine and regionally in publications to serve as a resource for attorneys and consumers seeking outstanding legal counsel.

In addition to Super Lawyers, the firm has received a variety of legal industry recognitions. For instance, Bates has previously been recognized by D Magazine as a “Best Lawyer” in Dallas for Intellectual Property. Additionally Harper has been honored with the top ranking of AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell.
