Harper Bates & Champion LLP is seeking a 2-5 year commercial litigation associate to bolster its growing litigation practice. Ideal candidates will have experience managing discovery, conducting research, drafting pleadings and motions, and facilitating the management of complex state and federal court litigation. Courtroom and deposition experience are strongly preferred but not required. The firm's litigation practice includes hourly and contingent-fee work. Experience with patent and trademark litigation is a plus but is not required.
Excellent academics, writing skills, and communication skills are required. Law review experience and a judicial clerkship are preferred. The firm fosters a team-oriented work environment and seeks detail-oriented professionals with strong workflow management skills.
