Shannon Bates Judged INTA’s Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition

Harper & Bates LLP is pleased to announce partner Shannon Bates served as a judge at the International Trademark Association (INTA) Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition on February 6.

This annual competition, named to honor trademark and unfair competition lawyer Saul Lefkowitz, introduces law students to important issues in U.S. trademark and unfair competition law in a mock courtroom setting. Approximately 80 teams from U.S.-accredited law schools participate in the competition each year. Two teams from each of the regional competitions will advance to the National Finals in Washington, D.C.

Bates is also a member of INTA’s Law Firm Committee, where she helps develop member benefits, services and education programs specifically designed for law firms. Her term ends in December 2021.
