She was previously an intellectual property litigation associate at Sidley Austin in Dallas, Texas. Mathews received her law degree from Southern Methodist University in 2004 and her bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering in 2000 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She is admitted to practice in Texas and is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
Mathews regularly advises clients on a variety of intellectual property related matters including patent and trademark prosecution in domestic and foreign markets. She has gained extensive experience litigating intellectual property matters in both state and federal courts across the United States, frequently assisting clients in patent, trademark and domain name disputes.
